Let’s be honest. Moving can be an exciting time, but it can also be exhausting and stressful. Sometimes people move because they’ve bought a new home, or found a nicer place to rent, but commonly people are forced to move due to a change in career or personal circumstances. Whether you’re happily moving to a new home, or reluctantly moving for work, family or other reasons, a move will always require planning and coordination.
Although a move to downsize after decades in the family home may be many times more complex than a move to a different apartment one suburb over, at Premier Removals we believe its best to approach any move in a strategic manner. Instead of a checklist rigidly organised by weeks and days, we think the best way is to break the planning of your move into 4 stages:
- Stage 1 – getting ahead of the curve
- Stage 2 – your move is approaching
- Stage 3 – move day is here, now what?
- Stage 4 – post move planning
