Albion sits just 4km north of Brisbane City. Most homes in Albion are Queenslander style houses, with a number of low rise and mid rise apartments centred around Sandgate Road.

Albion is divided by the railway line, with an overpass connecting both sides of the suburb together. Towards the western side of the railway lies the majority of residential properties in Albion. The eastern side has a greater amount of light industrial and along Sandgate Road the majority of shops, cafes and restaurants are found.

Towards the residential area, Albion train station allows for a quick journey towards the city. Around Breakfast Creek various sporting grounds and the Breakfast Creek Hotel can be found.

Being a thoroughfare to the city, Albion is a busy suburb, and is slowly being improved with many houses being renovated. In the coming future it is possible that there will be apartments developed on the site of the old TAB office. The old Bunnings will soon be the site of a car yard.

Albion’s main draw is it’s convenience and relative affordability. It could be a great choice for anyone working near the city, that wants to buy in an upcoming area.

Removals in Albion do not generally come with any great challenges. One of the few challenges is the fact that a few houses and apartments on Sandgate Road have little to no space for parking a removals truck and strict no-stopping zones in front. If you are moving into one of these properties, don’t forget to advise your removalist. It may be necessary to arrange a ute or van to avoid dangerously and illegally blocking Sandgate Road.
