Our pack and move service is a luxury moving experience at a price you can afford. Whether you’re an active professional, busy parent or an mature aged person, we promise to make everything as easy as it can be. Commonly known as a white glove moving service, this service begins with an in house survey where we take an inventory of everything you wish to move, and note any thing that will be disposed of or stored. Ahead of the move, we’ll be readily available to deal with any changes or special requests you may have. The day before the move, we come and professionally pack all of your house hold for safe transit. Essential items like toiletries, kitchenware, tea and coffee can be packed separately so that you have immediate access to them in the destination. On the day of the move a team of removalists will arrive, already briefed in your move and get to work prepping your home and furniture for transport, whilst the lead removalist finalises any details with you. At the end of the day, you’ll be left with furniture assembled and neatly placed and the unpacking can be scheduled to begin immediately after, or the following day. The aim of this service is to make you feel special and reduce the physical and mental effort required of you to nearly zero and it can be a surprisingly cost effective approach too.
Our move only service is our most commonly requested service. Australians have a love for DIY, so it makes sense that even when hiring removalists, many of us prefer to do our own packing. Though it is not the same luxury experience as our ‘pack and move’ service, by no means is this service a low quality experience. You can trust your furniture will be carefully wrapped, handled and packed into the truck. Where needed we will apply protection for the walls, doors, floors and stairwells in your home. Ahead of the move, we’ll be readily available to deal with any changes or special requests you may have and the day before we will speak to confirm any last minute details. On the day of the the same high quality team of removalists will arrive, and after a quick walk through will get to work prepping your home and furniture for transport and then loading the truck. With this service you can DIY all of the preparation, or you can leave some of it to us. We’re more than happy to help with disassembly and reassembly of furniture, and can even help with packing just some areas (the fragile kitchen items for example).
One of our most straight forward ways of billing is an hourly charge. Once we know the details of your move including the inventory and the conditions for access at both the origin and destination, we have a special formula that factors in the volume of items, travel time, distance to the truck, stairs, elevators and more in order to give an accurate estimate of total costs. A lot of customers love this approach. Many times customers on hourly jobs will help with small items and boxes to feel more in control. Some customers will take advantage of our flexibility on an hourly job and request our help to rearrange a room or assemble all the beds.
