Nundah is a growing area. It has a village feel, with the convenience of a large shopping centre at Toombul, and train station in both areas. Nundah is a great choice for singles, couples and families. If you decide Nundah is right for you, we’ll help you move there.
Why Move To Nundah?
Nundah is in the midst of a transformation. In the streets of Nundah, we can see a large number of its Queenslander homes being renovated. Many dilapidated properties are being replaced by luxury townhouses, and mid-rise apartments are being built in locations like the town centre and around the train stations at Nundah, Toombul and Northgate.
Whilst prices are rising, it represents great value compared to neighbouring Clayfield and Albion, at the cost of being just 5 minutes further from the city.
Nundah has a seemingly unlimited choice of restaurants, cafes, small bars, gyms and boutique stores. It is also home to the Toombul Shopping Centre that is currently being renovated. With Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, small format Bunnings, K-Mart, various doctors, clinics and pharmacies, restaurants and stores, there is no reason to leave Nundah. If you must leave for some reason most of what Nundah can’t offer will be found in the neighbouring Skygate.
For city-based workers, a direct train link passing through Bowen Hills, Fortitude Valley and the city stations is a great option. Nundah is also a great option for anyone working in Brisbane airport, Skygate, Eagle Farm, Hendra, Northgate, Banyo, Virginia or Zillmere. Even for those working on the south side of Brisbane, easy access to the Gateway Motorway and Airport Link tunnel mean mobility is not a problem.
Nundah has a tight-knit community with football, soccer and cricket fields as well as a bowling and croquet club in the area. Fitz and Potz is a popular cafe in Nundah and for a beverage, The Village Social, The Royal and soon to be opened Aether Brewery in Northgate are great options.
If a move to or from Nundah is in your future, we’re the removalists that can get you there.
Nundah is not an overly difficult suburb to work in.
The main problems faced are houses on busy roads like Sandgate, Buckland and Melton Roads. With these roads being very busy and offering little space to park a truck, working in these areas can be dangerous. Let your removalist know your address and any concerns if you are on a busy road in Nundah. In some cases, it may be necessary to use a smaller truck that can safely be parked in your driveway or nature strip. Parking a large truck and obstructing the main thoroughfare in peak hours will likely cause problems with the police (not to mention reputational damage to your removalist).
Aside from this, there is an increasing number of mid-rise buildings in Nundah. It can be a great idea to request a lift key. This will allow your removalists to use one of the lifts without interruption and work much more efficiently.
If you’re planning an office move in Nundah, the same suggestions exist. With lots of smaller offices, Nundah is a great area to carry out office moves of an evening or night time. By the time your staff turn up for work in the morning they will be surprised to see their desk fully functional in your new premises.
